Brief biography : Ben has been playing Hawaiian Slack Key since a chance listening at Tower Records in 1996. It was love at first sound.  He has been playing guitar since 1981 and has studied Slack Key with Hal Kinnaman and Keola Beamer.  Ben is one of the first members of LIFGC has had the great pleasure of playing for and with all of the many talented LIFGC members and affiliates.

Biography :

Kristhen is an “acoustic” musical duo featuring Kristi on vocals and Henry on steel & nylon six string guitars providing the perfect atmosphere for your occasion both vocally and instrumentally.

Kristhen will warm your heart with popular music from the sixties through today by popular artists including Norah Jones, Lady Antebellum, Carole King, Melanie, Shania Twain, Jewel, The Carpenters, The Beatles, James Taylor, Paul Simon, Billy Joel, Richard Marx, Burt Bacharach, Van Morrison, and Jason Mraz and also perform instrumental renditions of contemporary & classic favorites as well to suit your occasion.

Kristhen plays many popular eastern Long Island venues and wineries and is also available for wedding ceremonies, cocktail hours, private parties and special events.
